Dr Nigel Dunglison graduated MBBS (University of Queensland) in 1989 and completed his Urological Surgery Training (FRACS (urol) in 2000. Dr Dunglison was awarded the Australasian Fellowship and completed a two year sub-specialty fellowship training in the field of Reconstructive and Prosthetic Urology at The Institute of Urology within University College London in London, UK. Dr Dunglison has conducted Reconstruction and Prosthetic Urology at the RBWH and the Wesley Hospitals since 2002.
Dr Dunglison is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a Member of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ). He is an overseas member of BAUS (The British Association of Urological Surgeons) and a Member of the Australian Medical Association.
Dr Dunglison graduated in 1989 and spent his Internship at the Princess Alexandra Hospital before undertaking two years of country service in the inland Wide Bay. He commenced junior surgical training rotations in 1993 and obtained an Advanced General Surgical training position in 1995 and transferred to Urological Training in 1997. He graduated FRACS (Urology) in 2000 whilst working as ‘The Australasian Fellow’ at The Institute of Urology and completed his sub-specialty training in Reconstruction and Prosthetic Urological Surgery.
Dr Dunglison returned to Brisbane in 2002 following appointment as the Director of Urology at Royal Brisbane and Womens’ Hospital (RBWH) and continued in this role until 2016.
Dr Dunglison has undertaken the Reconstruction and Prosthetic Urology surgeries along with other complex tertiary and general urology surgeries at RBWH and The Wesley Hospital since 2002.
